A few days ago I had this great idea for a disney movie. I want the opinion of others on the plot so far and as only a few choice friends read my blog I figured this was a good place to test it. If you would like pictures of the characters I have sketched them out with minor changes to be made.
Major characters
1. Melody Rose- Ginger British American super heroine whose powers change with her mood ex.(sad=water/flood anger= Fire etc...). Her only weakness is pain so if she is hurt or experiencing pain she is void of all super powers. Melody's best friend is her mentor who is introduced in the movie as her friend/older sister like character. This is to leave room for an origin story if I want one later. Her mentor taught her to control her powers to an extent and helps her fight basic crime. Melody's sidekick is a pet rock because Olaf was a snowman so I'll do what I want. Her rock doesn't talk but rather makes gestures like Pascal from Tangled but is a female and is a good deal more useful in fighting crime. Her enemy is also her love interest because in real life it is often the same person. Melody's conflict in the movie would be that her mentor and love interest are good and evil so obviously they don't quite get along. This becomes a problem when Melody is tempted towards evil as equally as she is to good. Her primary colour is black but she wears red and green from time to time to match her mood.
2. Iggy Mai- Asian American who has curly dark hair is shorter and slightly tanned almost Greek in appearance if you know Phoebe from color guard then like her because not enough disney characters look like her. She has the ability to create storms. Iggy grew up in New York City as an orphan and went on to teach Melody to use her powers taking on an older sister figure. She is the moral compass of the story but dislikes conflict. Near the end of the movie she is mortally wounded but Melody in her emotions is able to heal her. She does not like Vance and wants him dead if possible to keep Melody out of trouble. Iggy is young but because of her surroundings growing up she is sickly often and rarely fights with Melody if at all due to the danger of it. She is however able to train Melody with ease. Iggy has a fondness for coffee and loves the colour purple.
3. Jewelia- Melody's pet rock. Not much is revealed about Jewels however it is well known that she fell from space and is an animated character. Jewls is highly critical of Iggy but not of Vance despite knowing her longer. Jewels is sassy and is able to fight as well as Melody at times because rocks do not feel pain they only inflict it.
4. Vance- He is genuinely attractive and he knows it or at least thats what I was going for. His face structure is longer, he has large lips, and defined eyebrows but I am not quite decided on the look of his hair nose and eyes. Vance is the kind of cruel that Hans from Frozen is. He is only interested if he gets something out of it and he is the vain, despicable, deplorable jerk everyone loves anyway. To describe him as plainly as possible he is as cruel to citizens as Kuzco was at the beginning of the emperors new groove and other than that his personality ranges from Gaston to Loki. He's THAT kind of awful. Vance represents evil and destruction but is somehow able to draw in the naive Melody. He is her love interest as well as her villain. He is seen mortally wounding Iggy who hated him in the first place and while Melody mends it she somehow is able to convert his evil to good (Iv'e not worked that bit out yet but I'll get around to it). Once he is turned good Melody becomes disinterested with him as a love interest but he officially is allowed onto the team after a bit of argument from Iggy. If I can work it in I want Iggy to be his official love interest but I might not be able to bring myself to it.
The plot in it's worth is a girl with super powers in equality to her emotions falls for a bad guy but knows he's bad. In doing this she falls throughout the movie closer to being completely evil as she blocks out those who care most. At the last minute she is forced into making a decision between good and evil her friend and her love. She chose her friend and healed her. This somehow caused such a reaction as to turn Vance her love interest good (lets sum it up with disney magic). The thrill is gone and Melody is no longer interested the way she was before because deep down she wanted the evil but her obligations told her she could not give into them. This movie would star mostly girls which would be nice for a change and would teach young girls and boys that obligation and family are more important than one's own wishes. The movie has a limit of three songs with words. The movie's title would be Torn and the catchphrase is "careful what you wish for cause you just might get it" which actually has more to do with the movie than you would think but there must be something left to the imagination. :3 Let me know what you think and if you really are itching to see the characters I can text them to you just message me with your name and I will get back to you.

The Worst Man
I recently discovered what it was that made a guy disgusting and a total turn-off to women. So when talking to a guy over text I was thinking how well the conversation was going. That is until he asked me if he was ugly. Of course I said no because he was average and I didn't want to be rude. A few texts later and he sent a picture of himself shirtless. I stopped responding.
What if a girl did that after such a short time knowing him? Talking to a guy she found attractive but had never met in person and shaming her body the whole time before sending him a picture of herself shirtless. This woman would be dubbed a hoe and rightly so. Body shaming is ugly and pathetic on both men and women. No one wants to hear a person they think is attractive constantly disagree with you like your taste in them is wrong. It sends a bad message. On receiving a desperate no-shirt bathroom picture I promise the person on the receiving end either is finished with the conversation or just as desperate as the one who sent it.
I would like to know why guys do this and it isn't just one guy its most of them. BTW none of them were under 20 when talking to me a 17 year old starting college. This is more than inappropriate. If I was 30 it would be a turn-off lead alone when I am far younger than him. What has society done to our men? Where did they learn this idiotic behavior? All men should watch disney movies before attempting to date anyone. Women do not want your sad shirtless pictures. Not because of vanity but because they deserve a guy who will go out of his way to be a man with integrity. The kind of guy who doesn't let her walk all over him just because he doesn't feel pretty. Putting yourself before someone else is the best thing you can do for a relationship. Give her a rose not a reason to leave. You could be a perfectly nice guy and she won't like you because you don't give her a reason to respect you. As a basic rule don't send her naked skin filled anything or body shame her or yourself. Talk about things you see in your life; your interests and political standings are interesting. Don't expect stupid and she will respect you for respecting her.

Gaston-CAUTION SPOILERS
There is a theory which is not an original by me that Gaston was really the good guy in Beauty and the Beast. The theory goes that in the story it makes more sense that the beast is a beast and Gaston is a prince like hero. To understand lets discuss Gaston.
Gaston is loved by everyone in the town except for Belle. He is a high ranking authority to the point that rallying the whole town against the beast is an easy feat. From his decorations it can be inferred that he protects the town from all sorts of beasts on the regular. His goal in life is to woo and marry the prettiest girl in town. He genuinely tries and sets up a whole band and a wealthy man's (during that day and age) wedding for them. When he hears Belle's father going on about a beast he really does think he is crazy and didn't realize the truth until Belle showed him the mirror. Thinking he was crazy he may have even thought relieving the stress on Belle to take care of her crazy father singlehandedly would be kind and she would want to marry him. When he heard of the monstrous beast who had kidnapped Belle and possibly even cast a spell on her he immediately went to kill the beast just like the prince is supposed to. He was just trying to rescue her. In the end when the beast goes up to see Belle, Gaston knifes him in the back possibly thinking he was saving her life. When Gaston falls to his death the movie depicts sculls in his eyes marking the end of the traditional disney prince. The movie still needed a prince for Belle so the beast stood in as the new type for princes.
You be the judge but really Belle was crazy for despising Gaston the richest, strongest, most caring, and most loved man in the area. I know this one was a little short but as a final note I would just like to point out how ridiculous it was when Belle started crying in her room. It is nicer than mine and her previous home. Like you live in a castle stop complaining.

The Little Mermaid- SPOILER ALERT!!!
So there is this disney theory that ariel and her sisters have different mothers. If you haven't seen the third movie in the sequence there are several spoilers later on so either watch it and come back or disregard this warning. The theory goes that the daughters of king triton look nothing like triton or his queen athena. This is because mermaids breed like fish so triton is their father while they all have different biological mothers. Ariel is the daughter of queen athena who was in fact the actual queen as she was more than just a breeder of heirs she was tritons best friend.
That makes sense and I'll let you look up fish breeding yourself. HOWEVER... I have come up with a theory of my own and it is scandalous. So I believe that Arista is Ursula's Daughter. Arista is the 3rd oldest and resembles Ursula in her mermaid form found in one of the comics under the name of Arsulu and keeps the same eye colour as an octopus. In the comic she looked almost exactly like Arista. Obviously Ursula was at some point banished by triton who is her brother in the comics but the reason is not clear. (Morgana from the little mermaid two is also known to be Ursala's sister as stated int he movie but I'll get to that later).
So my theory is that "Marina Del Ray" from the third movie Ariels Beginning is really Ursula. Aside from the fact that she has pet electric eels Marina had serious roots in Atlantica and wears the same hairstyle as well as full eyeshadow and has an affinity to purple and was given primary care over Tritons daughters and is shown to be really into costumes AND appears only slightly younger than Triton himself so around the same age. After Marina tries to kill Ariel AKA Tritons favourite she was banished and turned into an octopus creature only escaping with two eels that were damaged by triton in the process leaving them with only an eye each that lights up rather than full electricity. Ariel knows these eels incredibly well by the second movie when they are seen as eels turned stingray working for Ursula's sister Morgana. But back to business Arista did nothing wrong and is seen as a daughter of Triton during the little mermaid 3 with Marina/Ursala as a mother like figure after the queen dies as she is Arista's mother so she was left as the 3rd oldest and third in charge despite her heritage she is still favored by Triton.
Morgana is the mother of Adrina the second oldest and resembles her and her style heavily while keeping her eye colour. It makes a good deal of sense to say that Adrina stays in her position as Morgana obviously did something to be banished but it wasn't as bad as what ursula did. she would have had to be banished before the little mermaid 3.
The eldest daughter Aquata in my opinion looks a lot like her father at the beginning of the third movie and while Ariel inherited the red hair gene she very well could be the queens first daughter which makes sense when looking at how harshly Triton treats Ariel when she acts up as her sister behaves really well.
In conclusion according to this theory Triton has 5 daughters along with 2 adopted daughters due to the banishment of their mothers. It explains why the sea witches constantly want to reclaim the throne along with their choice in pets. All in all it isn't important but it gives a new layer of depth to the movie as Ursula acts as a sort of estranged mother/ aunt to Ariel and her biological siblings.

objectification
Now I am by no means an idiot. That being said today I am going to tell you a story about interesting things. So I have been sick for a while and knowing I probably could use some exercise I decided to go for a walk and walk until I was beat. But... In case you haven't noticed, Texas weather is freaking boiling except it has been boiled for so long it is literally past steam. So I went at night. Thats fairly dangerous and in this society and with my general fear of thugs, darkness, and ruffians I took my brother who has a second degree black belt and is six two. Real big guy and just in case we brought a fully charged phone with location monitors and told my mom where we were going. I am pretty much legal to be out at night and my brother (age 14) looks old so out we went at one in the morning and we were out for around an hour just talking when we got a call from my dad. He was pissed... and terrified... and generally irrational.
Now he had no reason to be as not only do we know people in the entire area we walked through but we also were fully protected. "its not how it used to be" "do you think you can't get raped" "do you think you are invincible" just a few phrases said to my brother and I when we got home.
"its not how it used to be". Well yeah it sort of is. There have been rapists since time began and aside from that most of them no matter what time period would not attack a group of people especially a woman accompanied by a larger guy. Not saying precautions shouldn't be taken but in a wealthy neighborhood in America that really is not an issue after all whenever you hear about a rape it occurred in some mall parking lot after hours where there wasn't anyone for at least a mile to hear the rapee scream.
"do you think you are invincible". Well yeah he would thats what you have been telling him literally his whole life. Young boys are pressured into fighting and violence since birth so if you can tell him to beat up anyone who treats him poorly despite their size and training then don't expect him to think he can't beat up a random guy on the street or in a bar.
"do you think you can't get raped". No obviously. Not at all really when society drills it into my head 24/7. Don't wear that you might send the wrong signal and get raped. Don't say that you could be seen as a sexual object just because you have sexual feelings that only men are supposed to feel and they might rape you. UMM no I don't think so. If a guy can laugh about jacking off every morning in a public setting I don't see why a woman cannot speak of her feminine opinions of sex in the same setting. I also don't see why my brother and his friends can walk around the house shirtless when I can't. My own brother has been taught so poorly as to ridicule me for not shaving when he doesn't and it is a painful itchy long process that he wouldn't do himself if he was a woman. Last thing for this quote umm men can get raped to not just women so saying it to me is not only objectifying your daughter but it is giving her the idea that women are inferior to men by not saying the same thing to you son.
I know it is literally everywhere but we can do something about objectification starting in our homes. Women do not have to have long hair to be beautiful just like men do not have to have short hair to be handsome. Women do NOT have to shave their legs or pits for men because men do not have to shave for women. Women to NOT have to wear bras to cover up the fact that they like generally all women AND men have nipples. I am not a hobo for not wearing a bra in my home or in public for that matter and it does not give anyone permission to assume I want to be confronted because of it. Men don't wear cups constantly in fear that if he doesn't women will discover that he like most men have a penis. He wears it for protection when he exercises just like a woman might wear a bra when she exercises. If a man wants to wear makeup to enhance his appearance he can and if a woman doesn't want to she doesn't have to. OK thats it I'm out ttyl.

emp
I have reason to believe from what i have read and studied that an emp attach from Russia will soon be upon us. I am only human and I may have interpreted scripture incorrectly however I have learned to trust my initial instincts. Let me explain. A few years ago I was attempting to with my own knowledge interpret the end time prophecies in the Bible. My father had by then studied the living daylights out of the Bible so after I found a conclusion I brought my concerns to him. I had concluded that America was the new Babylon. This may seem far fetched but I will explain later why. When I asked my dad he explained his own beliefs on the topic which I now disagree with. For a long time I had put these thoughts aside thinking them inferior however I recently discovered I am not the first to interpret these things in this way and in this great detail. Therefore I am revisiting them.
The Bible states that in the end there will be a nation that rises as the mystery Babylon I believe this nation is America. note there are 54 points listed so scroll down for the conclusion...
1. Babylon would be noted for its architecture, buildings and skyline (Isaiah 13:22)
2. Is the lone super power of the world (Isaiah 47:5,8)
3. Is the most respected and envied around the world and yet at the same time is hated by the world. (Isaiah 18:2)
4. Has a unique and remarkable beginning, different from other nations and has been awe-inspiring from it's conception. (Isaiah 18:2).

I at first thought it would be an atomic bomb but there would be no one left to starve or spread disease. an emp perfectly describes these traits. Just imagine the fires that would break out and the people that would starve and the disease that would spread without electricity. no more pharmacy no more firemen with more fires to cook food and worst of all no waste disposal which would result in mass infection of various diseases. We need to prepare now. If you read this text me immediately as in the area of Houston we need to start a support group for this event with our varied talents. I cannot do this alone please help if you can only believe me.

My Own Advice
I remember watching Alice In Wonderland as a kid thinking 'what an idiot if she has good advice why is she following a random white rabbit into the unknown when she has a family and a life to attend to she got herself into this mess I'll never be like that!' however, that is indeed what I have done. My best friend knows exactly what I am referring to or rather who because i have told her. To get the whole painting I will start at the beginning.
The reason
Abusive relationships are something I have always tolerated though I just recently understood that and why. Now I will be the first to say that self harm is ridiculous and it is an attention issue but putting two and two together in my own life took some time. I don't cut but you can hurt yourself mentally without razors. As a kid my first friend was a boy who lived across the street. He was two years older and I was three so he was a little big headed. He would tell me to sit and watch him so unknowingly I did as I was told because I didn't mind and it made him happy. I didn't have any sort of crush on him we were just friends but this behavior set up for some bad habits. He moved away and went to public school. I remember staring outside my front window at his house and being really depressed as a four year old which is crazy as i was so little.
Later on
There was a kid in my sixth grade class, Nick. I didn't pay mind to him but I was really unpopular for whatever reason and had few friends and no love relationships which at this early middle school time I wanted more than anything. He sat next to me and would just verbally attack me but everyone else ignored me and I considered him an eccentric friend. It got worse though as he started to hit me with hard back books. There wasn't any damage more than the occasional bruise on the roof of my head but I developed the most insane crush on him despite his deplorable mannerisms and his general mediocre looks. Just because he payed attention to me. Since then that is what I subconsciously look for in guys and sometimes friends as my other friends bullied me a lot.
Now
I learned this technique to help me get over things like unrequited crushes which I call reflection. It works like this to stop obsessing about one guy I reflect the feelings toward them on another guy and the cycle repeats though it takes a long time sometimes years. This really does work but the problem is every new person comes with separate feelings along with the ones added from the last person/s so it ends up building until it is very difficult to leave. Thats one half of the problem currently the other is the attention thing. Now I have healed from the bullying and it really was not that bad considering what others have been through but it still affects me. The last/current guy who will remain unnamed will never feel the same way as I do and he has flaws I am sure though none of them bother me rather they are the traits I love about him. The degrading things he says and his manipulative way of getting literally whatever he wants I find so amazing like they are talents or something. He has used and abused me at least mentally with his constant mind games and forcing the conformity of his pack of women he hangs out with non romantically. To be in the group which I was for a short time you have to dress, act, and like what they see fit and go through humiliating tests to be near him at all. I did everything and gave up innocence I now wish I hadn't to him. All because I didn't mind if it made him happy. That is the key. At the top I said about my childhood 'I didn't mind and it made him happy' now 'I didn't mind because it made him happy' those are very different though they look very similar. I worked so hard for him just so he would confirm I was in some way special to him when all that matters is that I am special to God and myself by extension.
As for the advice
I would have told a friend having this problem 'he is not worth your time. he is a rat, no a flee on a rat, worse than that he is an amoeba on a flee on a rat. He is too low for even the dogs to bite. You are amazing and you need to get over this so you can have what you are worth'. I did not take my own advice like Alice and now I wish I had. So to get over it I will remember to be my own best friend just as anyone reading this should remember. Give yourself the advice you would give your friends if they asked because you know you better than anyone else. Thats all for now as it is 5:30 AM and my insomnia over this amoeba is slowing down so good night.

the gay talk
so i recently have been in a heated conversation about homosexuality on Facebook with a good friend and someone who decided to join our conversation. they claim my view is skewed and my arguments are illogical uses of knowledge so i decided to tell you about them.
first the most irritating part. here goes. more states in america accept gay marriage than states who do not accept it. knowing this i said with assurance that these states and the people within these states who voted on the topic are allowed their right to decide what they want accepted by law in their state. this was countered with but the states shouldn't decide we should all have equal rights. seriously. what did i JUST SAY? equal rights are also given to those who do NOT agree with your opinion. why do those who are opposed to the who gay rights thing have to accept their opinion when theirs are trampled as wrong and deplorable upon mention? what about the rights of the straight white adult male who owns his home and has worked just as hard for what he has gained in his life as anyone else? don't his rights count? as americans we are entitled to our votes and if a whole state majority decides they don't want something by law they do not have to have it. honestly those who don't want states right which are in reality individual rights can get out if they don't like it move to another state where your opinions are the majority. Why would you want to live in a place that refuses your opinions anyway. I'm not moving to California any time soon as i would rather stay in a state that accepts my views like Texas and Alaska. there are plenty of places in this world that agree with your life philosophy and not everyone has to agree with it. i swear if i hear one more person tell ME not to push my opinions onto them i will blow up on them because most of the time the one who would dare to say that to me is the one pushing opinions.
i know this will sound terrible to all the feminists and believe in yourself-ers but we are not all equal. we have equal rights but we are not all equal. some people are better at more things than other people and that is not a bad thing. we cannot all be leaders just like we cannot be all followers. there is balance for a reason and that reason being without balance chaos ensues. knowing this i would not send a woman to war just as i wouldn't send a child. because trust me i know how weak a woman can get during her period and i understand that typically women are physically weaker than men. i also do not expect a guy to pop out children because obviously they are not made for that. so when someone says "well you would be upset if you couldn't get a job because you were a woman its the same as gay marriage" i reply "in this day and age a job is a necessity while marriage is not". I could die of starvation due to lack of job while getting married is really really not a priority rather it is a life choice. and those who are gay do have equal rights really. think if i a straight woman wanted to marry a woman in texas it still would not count as a real marriage as a straight woman that is not legal just as it isn't if you are a gay woman or man. it is only legal to marry someone of the opposite sex in this state. that goes for everyone. so if you don't like it leave no one is making you stay in this HORRIBLE place where you cannot marry someone of the same gender or animals or furniture for that matter.
also a friend of mine says all the time when we get onto this topic "if thats what you are into then go for it" but what if you were into eating people would that be ok? i am pretty sure to most people that is not an ok thing to do. she then goes on to say i am just taking things to extremes but is it an extreme. to me it is an extension. these things are related in at least two ways. one they are carnal not needs rather they are wants. if you are into eating people that is a carnal desire not a need. if you were starving thats a little different but as far as being "into" it thats carnal. lust and american love is carnal as well especially in this case. most gay people at least here from what i have seen are turned or convinced they are like that and i have heard countless gay guys say they would be able to convince a hot guy they saw that they were gay. so yes it is carnal. not a need like food drink and sleep. secondly eating people and the union of two people of the same gender are illegal in several states. so as they are related and not just extremes like saying dirt tastes bad so everything that grows from it tastes bad too. because one is actually related and the other is completely ridiculous and a complete exaggeration. so yes in my opinion good is good and bad is bad. but unfortunately everyone is entitled to their opinion so to those people i am politically correct while generally i am the only one being politically correct. your welcome.
last thing i promise. i hear a lot of it was practiced in ancient Greece you see masters and apprentices were expected to have intercourse no matter what their gender. first ewww. second that is rape. complete rape. you see masters and apprentices being at such great age differences and with the positions of power being what they were makes the idea of this completely perverted and disgusting. if this happened now the master would be arrested as this is completely unacceptable in society as it is in most societies which i think everyone can agree to. another thing ill hear is well animals do it. most of these people are not christians so i don't bother with this but WE are NOT animals. maybe you like to believe your great grandmother was a fecies throwing chimp but as for the rest of society that is just gross. you can be that in your mind but I am a child and creation of the one TRUE God who made you whether you like it of not. if you can be so ignorant as to look around at the world, universe, and all of history and say meh accident then you have really allowed yourself to become delusional.

Forcing Yourself
Recently I had done something I felt really guilty about. I had told my friends but all of them threw it to the side saying it really was not a big deal. Despite this I felt terrible because this thing that I did was not just one thing because I had lied to my mom about it. I thought she would think less of me if I admitted to doing the horrid thing I did on an impulse so I lied and told her I hadn't and more than that I did this thing as a group and openly mocked them for doing it to my mother even though I did it as well.
One night it got the most of me. I needed someone to talk to who wouldn't tell me it was ok but at the same time wouldn't hate me for it. I needed to hear forgiveness. So I found the physical strength to walk down the hall to my mothers room, stand outside her door for over five minutes, and after all that I found the courage to knock. She understood completely and though upset at my actions approached me in the most loving way possible.
The physical and emotional pain of forging myself to do something was absolutely excruciating but when does anyone ever feel like owning up to their lies or eating right or exercising or talking to that guy you see on your way to work every day. How much more valuable would our lives be if we just put our own thoughts and feelings aside to just do something with ourselves?
I want to be the president. So I will be. I want to change healthcare to a more holistic form of medical treatment. So I'll do it. But the difficult part is doing it. Until now thinking about college and majors terrified me because what I WANT to do is not a stable job and I really don't have masses of supporters. My own friends wouldn't vote for me and they have told me so but now as i look at what i want to do the only real option is doing it. I know the president is supposed to be a former lawyer but that really isn't the point because I don't want to do that. I don't want to go to college for a job I want to go for me. I want to go to do what I want and become who I am supposed to be. So I will.

happy valentine's day
So valentines day happened and I still hate valentines day. However I decided that instead of being depressed over the boyfriend I don't really want i would give myself a valentine every day until next year. Next February 14th I'll sit down and read them. Not that I would know but having a boy toy seems pretty exhausting. You have to pay attention to them whenever they need you which is all the time because boys are so needy and aside from that you have to trust they will be there when you need them with everything you need to get through all of life's hard situations. With college coming up who has time to feel sorry for themselves over a boy who won't ever stick with them. I have bigger plans besides I would never have my friends settle for less than their perfect so why should I?
As a kid I wanted a red and gold wedding outside in an orchard during the summer. I imagined myself with five very different children and two dogs. I wanted a house on cheap property that was old and worn down just so I could fix it up for my family. It was made to fit everyone with five bedrooms and a pool in the backyard. I wanted a job that let me be at home a lot so my kids would never miss a meal. I wanted a garden to feed them with. The kids have been named since I was twelve and now at seventeen I haven't changed them. While wanting this secure loving environment I wanted to change the world for the better not with small changes but big ones. I wanted to be president or senator or a government lawyer.
If I want all this how could my vision get so jaded as to think my standards ought to be lowered because of a boy who cares about me so much less than I care about him. So from now on I'll be my own valentine. I'll buy myself chocolate and flowers thanks.

Language of Love
Today at lunch My friend showed another friend this thing she was doing for a class. It was a language of love test and I wanted to take it so I did despite her unreasonable protest. My highest two scores to her surprise were physical contact and words of affirmation. If you know me I tend to be the person who hates physical contact and on account of my never having a boyfriend I really don't tend to come off as a person who would score a nine in that category. After briefly thinking about it I knew why I had scored what I did and explained it to her.
First physical contact. I do not like to be touched and in the hallways if I can avoid the crowds I absolutely will however, I VALUE it the most. This doesn't mean I only care about physical contact in a relationship rather I value it more because I allow it less. Bad physical contact really makes me angry while a hug when I am struggling with something really does make me feel better and that means a LOT to me.
Words of affirmation are something that as an older sibling I feel really deprived of. When I was little my parents put so much pressure on me to be perfect and because they care so much they focused on my defects in hopes of correcting them instead of encouraging me in the way I needed. This is true today. If in guard for example my director is complimenting everyone but me on the choreography I tend to disconnect and give less than my best because what is the point really. When friends of mine criticize my work in our show I don't get offended but it really does mean a lot so I become discouraged. Maybe I just overanalyze things but THAT really bothers me. So words of affirmation because I care that my loved ones view me with the same respect that I view them.

Most of them got quality time which makes sense because they tend to want to go places and do things with their friends all the time. WARNING NEGATIVE POST
Life has been better but today has been so incredibly horrid. I was so exhausted when I woke up that I barely made it to school and on top of that am sore from winter guard. my bus broke down on the way home and we had to wait for a new one and if that wasn't bad enough I came home to my challenging grandmother who completely rearranged and snooped through my room. None of this bothered me quite as much as the speech our guard director gave during class today.
He was tired when he came in and taught us new work but expected us to remember all of it when we had only seen him do it once. I have the WORST memory so of course I instantly forgot it and could do maybe a full count of the work. After seeing us fail so miserably he ranted about how we aren't trying and we don't want to get better.
This is not the case. If only speaking for me I LOVE color guard like a sibling. There are good and bad days but I have been doing it for seven years regardless. To hear that he thinks we don't want to be here really bothers me and I feel like he looks down on me and other returning members just because we learn slowly and like to perfect our work before doing it full out. Peace
These last few days I have been so at peace. I got over a guy i knew was wrong for me and people keep saying it couldn't have just happened overnight but it did. I care deeply for this person even still but when you take a step back and see that none of this high school stuff matters and years from now he will just be a fond memory that I call every once in a while just to talk to makes everything now seem so small.
The problems of today are different than that of tomorrow or next year. It has no meaning other than what you take from it. Peace spreads. I never realised that my mindset really affected others but they have been so happy and un-offended just because my mood lightened theirs. Even the most stressed and negative people I know have been smiling and handling other people with more care simply because of shared laughs.
When i was younger I always imagined I would be a beautiful, loving, and loved teenager who knew everything and sought out knowledge and God daily. Though the setting of my expectations changed and I went through all sorts of depression; I believe I achieved this. Though i have never dated or partied or whatever, I am loved by those I didn't ever expect. Today I couldn't ask for better friends or circumstances and though things will continue to change I am confidant in those I confide in knowing they will always be there. What better peace exists?

self pressure
Some of my current friends at school in the colorguard are a lot different from me. I still love them just as much as I would if they believed all the things I do but recently I have been questioning their faith and moral standards in general.
If you are anything like me the idea of dating, parties, and just about anything that might be morally compromising seems utterly terrifying. Well God put me to the test yesterday and I failed miserably. So there is this game that is pretty similar to spin the bottle as far as the rules go and if a boy rolls a boy then they kiss them and vice versa for girls. I was asked to a party and told we would be playing this and might play it on the bus to a competition.
I obviously declined but in the moment the idea of friends getting to know each other better in this way seemed intriguing. It took me all day to make a solid decision on whether or not to give in to this, though I did decline.
It wasn't until this morning when I found a video that basically slapped me in the face bringing me back to reality. This lifestyle may be popular and expected but that does not excuse it from depravity by any means. If I did this idiotic game with a guy who considered himself gay then could i really defend Christianity knowing i had a 6'6 peice of plywood in my contacts? The popularity gained really seemed unimportant and i can't begin to explain how relieved i was at coming to this conclusion with the help of the vigilant christian on youtube.
The worst bit is how long it took me to get to that point when I KNEW better. I KNOW it is wrong and i KNOW that if thats what it takes to stay friends with them then it is SO not worth depriving myself from God's truth. I will not however make that mistake twice.

what women really want
the thing about women is they are very much like men. women do of course want to be chased by their night in shining armor but most of us like to do the chasing as well. most of the girls i know have this problem where they can't ever find a date including myself. most of them are lovely people who honestly know plenty of guys. this brings up certain situations that us as women cannot seem to avoid.
1. he is taken- the guys we like are often preoccupied with some girl we see ourselves as better than. in most cases the goal for these girls is to push that girl aside and get in with their ex but a lot of the time we happen to know the guy through the girl he is dating and are good friends with them so we sit and wait for them to break up except they don't so while that girl could be out looking for a reasonable guy she is sitting inside watching netflix and crying instead.
2. he is gay- now this subject may be a little touchy for some but i really don't care. picture this a girl is looking for a decent guy and she finds one. he is gorgeous, well groomed, well dressed, hard working, and good at anything he puts his mind to. better yet he is a great conversationalist and you can actually talk to him without hearing one stupid word uttered from his mouth. his boyfriend walks up and starts talking to you and five minutes later they've left for their shared one bedroom apartment. now in reality is it so bad that a straight girl would fall for this guy? he seems perfect and acts it too. so for those girls who have never experienced this try not to look down on those who fall for them all the time due to their lack of gay dar.
3. he is a douche- this guy gets whoever he wants and as i stated before girls love a challenge. no one wants a needy partner who showers you with so much attention that you literally suffocate. knowing this a douche bag who a girl must work hard to get and groom not to cheat is probably the best choice. every girl likes a bad boy especially when they take a slight and completely subtle interest in them. it is a primal instinct to want to earn a man's trust and love. the idea though for guys out there reading this is to give growing attention over time rather than either of the extremes.
4. he is clueless- most guys have a difficult time knowing when a girl likes them. we could put out all of our moves and you could still think we are just friends or that we aren't looking for a relationship. it goes both ways but as is traditional girls want to be asked out by guys not the other way around. being protected and having things go at our pace is really important to all women and though we want your respect it is painful to sit around waiting for who knows how long for a guy who barely acknowledges our existence.
5. he is perfect?- our parents have always wanted this guy for us. he is good looking, successful, smart, well off, good with kids, and is pretty good at whatever he tries. for some reason we just don't like him but we date him anyways. some even go as far as long term marriage. our friends like him our family likes him so we settle for what we aren't quite happy with. but why don't we like this great guy. he offers no surprises and honestly most women just want someone who can hold their own even if that means dating a less great looking and dirt poor guy who refused to go to college. we just want someone who will watch our favorite shows with us. our parents would accept our life choices anyway so why not pick a guy you can actually have a conversation with. to take a faked relationship like this seriously is bad for both sides as each individual in this couple deserves better.
